January 14, 2012

The week-end was so beautiful, Sherry, Jerry, & I decided to drive up to the lake for the day. Just before we left, one of Jerry's dairies had a few problems, so we had to make a little detour.
The drive was gorgeous!
There was a little dusting of snow in the Turtle Mountains.
The ice isn't very thick, due to the mild winter so far.
Sherry's counting the months until summer lake week-ends begin!
We were not about to miss watching the big game! The NCAA FCC Championship game-NDSU vs. Sam Houstan!
We watched the beginning of the game at the lake, and then decided to go to the A-Frame for lunch and finish watching.

Here are a few pics I found on other sites.

Watching the game at the A-Frame
Jerry called Rich a few times during the game to discuss highlights. Dad and Rich are both NDSU grads. Mom and Dad attended a football party down in AZ.

Miss this little cabin! Hope to be back soon to create more memories!
I am in the middle of burning off 14,000 pics from my laptop. I have scanned thousands of pics and slides for Mom's 80th birthday, so hoping to organize into another slideshow and some books. I have boxes and boxes of picture cd's with undeveloped pictures from the last 5 years.
Tiff , Jayden, and Buster came to Minot for Martin Luther King holiday week-end. Buster gets a little dirty romping around the yard and on walks with Jerry, so he needs frequent baths.
These boys are all about technology!
These girls are too!
Lindsay and little Ava joined us over the week-end!
Saturday we went out for lunch at the Badlands.
The kids played a few video games over at Space Aliens.

That afternoon Claire had her very first basketball game with her dad as coach! How lucky can a girl be!
Claire is a great player!

The boys got to run the clock!

The boys spent a lot of time on the court this week-end!
Baby Ava doesn't suffer from lack of attention!
Neither does this pup!
Buster loves the snow!

Sniff, sniff, sniff goes his nose all the time!
I smell something in here!

Buster loves watching airplanes! He will stop and watch until they disappear from sight!
Pinecone dessert! We had another great week-end!
