The forecast didn't look great for driving on Fri. afternoon, but we ended up with good road conditions, and arrived in Cavalier before dark. Jason had a wonderful chicken pasta dish waiting for us! What a treat!

Great Grandma Lorraine would be glad to know Jayden is still practicing piano. She taught him well!

February is "Reading Month" in Cavalier. Jayden went "way" over his required minutes this week-end because "a good book is hard to put down," he said.

Grandma, Grandpa, & Jayden each won a game of "Sorry."

A discussion followed the poker game, and....

Tiff was declared the winner!

It's never too cold for football!

A gloveless hand works best!

"A little wrestling with Grandpa will prepare me for the start of wrestling next Tuesday."

We traveled to Grand Forks Saturday. Jayden ordered his favorite steak at Texas Roadhouse.

Next stop was the Boat Show. Jayden wonders how old you need to be to get a motorcycle license. I told him 25!

Can you say "Midlife Crisis"?

Jason & Tiff checked out the jet skis, and saw a sauna they would really like!

Jayden's specialty is fried eggs, and...

Jason's is this tasty egg dish!

Jayden went out with camera in hand in search of this beautiful bird.

If anyone knows what type of bird this is, let me know. They nest in trees in their backyard.

Jayden is checking out some of his new Steeler's cards. He ordered Ben R's rookie card on the internet. He saved several week's allowances for it!

Grandpa uses 3D glasses to check out a page in the 2000 Guinness Book of World Records.

Jerry got ambitious last week-end, and replaced our old chandelier,

and put new pendant lighting (which he said wasn't possible) in the kitchen. I love them!

Looks like a great time! The new lights look fantastic, too.
