Mom has a couple hundred pictures of their winter in Mesa. Sherry is thinking this is going to be one LONG blog!

She surprised Sherry & I with these cute aprons. She must think we spend lots of time in the kitchen! Thanks mom!

JoAnn & Sheldon recently celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary. Can you believe it? Seems like only yesterday when Tiffany & Gracia were in the Y's Baby Exercise class!

Nathan & Cole were in Bismarck this week-end for his last Traveling Basketball Tournament, so Sherry & Jeni headed up to the lake with Claire's good daycare friend Payton. Wayde, Jen, & Avary joined us Saturday morning. Payton was proud of herself for going down the Big slide!

Claire borrowed Payton's Christmas dress for the jump on the tramp!

They made funny faces and wanted me to take pictures.

Then they wanted to see them right away. Each said "Mine is funnier!"

The "Funny Face" thing continued during popcorn snack time. What cards!

Campfire Snuggle Time!

Saturday morning Sherry, Jeni, & Jerry began the task of putting in the dock.

Oops! Didn't quite line up with the cement blocks!

Now what?

Jerry did end up in the water later to straighten it out. He didn't mind though, cuz the ice just came off the lake two days earlier and the water was SO warm! Ha

The little girls enjoyed the dock show!

Sherry brought up the Kitchen Aid (gift from Lynn) for the summer, so we decided to give those buns another try. You'll see the results later.

While we were making lunch, the girls decided to do try out routines from their gymnastic class. Avery went first,

then Payton,

and last Claire! Hilarious! They even put down blankets for a soft landing!

Putting on a show for the parents!

Sam & Taja wish they could put on a show too!

Supper rolls around, and guess what? You're right - foil potatoes, carrots, & onions! Hamburgers,

and buns, (they actually look better than they tasted!), and

Jerry's famous shrimp! Yum

Campfire time means s'more time, and

conversation time!

After a dice game of "Left, Center, Right" we were ready to call it a night! Wayde had an eventful day, as his interview for MSU's new Executive Management program was featured in today's Minot Daily News! Very impressive!
