We arrived in Cavalier Thursday night. We were on our way to Mpls. to see Chad's show, and help with a few projects at his place. Earlier he had some water problems in his basement. Jerry and Jason are checking levels in the hot tub.

Boys will be boys! Now for a little catch in the tub.
Jayden shows Jerry some of the souvenir coins he bought while in Washington, D.C.
This was a special one!
Tiff bought Jerry a special gift from D.C. also-a Barack Obama mug!
The next morning Jayden needed a little help stringing new laces in his shoes.
Jayden is off to school, and Tiff has decided to come along with us since she has Friday off.
Jayden had just enough time to shoot a few baskets.
Off we go to Mpls. with a stop at the Cavalier Elementary School first.
First stop in Mpls. was the Target store in Medina where Chad works.
Grandma baked Chad his favorite cookies!
Chad had no idea Tiff was coming along. What a surprise!
Before the show, Chad took us to a great Mexican restaurant.
The show was awesome as usual!
Lead guitarist was the best!
The next morning we went to Davanni's for subs. It's been a traditional lunch while in Mpls.
Then off to Menards & Home Depot to try to match new gutters to the existing ones, deck paint, and carpet pad for the basement. Jerry is up on the ladder with Chad & Jenny holding it stable.
Easy does it!
Tiff & I painted the deck. We didn't realize the deck was this big!
Jenny supervises the work crew.
Little did we realize that a few hours later that afternoon, Jerry would end up at North Memorial in Robbinsdale with a heart attack! He had been having chest pains the last few weeks, but attributed them to indigestion. He had even mentioned them to his doctor. That afternoon, he had a 102.6 temp. and horrible chills. He only went with us, as he thought for sure it was an infection. Luck was with us, as Tiff, Chad & Jenny were with us, and took us to one of the best hospitals for Cardiac Care!
The kids bought him a Shawn Hannity book and a Poker game.
Jerry would joke around telling us this was his girlfriend!
North Memorial, thank you!!!
Thank you to our wonderful kids for being there for us!
Jerry checked the Facebook messages for a "Speedy Recovery!"
Chad loves Red Lobster!
Jerry was appreciating the "little pleasures in life" a little more today.
Jenny came up after work to wish Jerry well! Mark was also here the night before.
Somehow this band pic snuck in!
Chad loves his three cats, but Bugsy is definitely his favorite. Look at that tail!
This was the deck all finished!
I love their yard!
New carpet pad is in place downstairs.
Chad & Tiff encourage Jerry on his walk. He's determined to pass the Rehab. test and be checked out!
His room was in the Atrium. They were beautiful, private rooms, with a great view!
He passed the test, and is set free with a brand new stent in place!

Room next door is the Drum room.
Sister-in-laws had some great bonding time!
Chad wasn't too thrilled to have this "Family Pic" taken while in his Dr. Pepper jammies, but was a good sport.
Glad we were all together during this difficult time!
Tiff will be the driver back to Cavalier, and then I'll take over. Jerry was one very lucky guy!
