Sherry, Claire & I went over to Mom & Dad's to help out with some Spring Planting. Claire was very interested in what Grandma was doing.

Friday we headed for the lake once again. The boys decided to get a better look at the weather from the camper's deck.
The boys are always searching for something in the water.
Saturday morning Jayden brought his Mom coffee in bed. What a sweet son!
Severe weather was predicted, and boy were they right! At the onset of showers, the boys headed out for a run.

Walmart is always a good choice when the weather doesn't cooperate. The boys bought-you guessed it-more cards!
Sherry decided to begin potting flowers during a break in the showers.
Claire purchased a Big Coloring Book and markers.
Jeni decided to play a little catch with the boys. She's playing softball herself this summer.
Tiff & Jason helped out with the planting. They've had lots of experience with this!
Claire helped put carrots in the foil potato packets for supper. She loves helping in the kitchen.
The boys had some fun tossing stones in the lake.
Our wood pile looks good after two trailer loads of wood from our old deck!
The boys take a quick break from ball to warm up by the fire.
This crew stayed a little longer! It was hard to believe we could actually have a fire with all the rain we had today.
The breakfast cooks! Jerry grilled sausage, Sherry made French toast, and I warmed up potatoes from the night before, and fried eggs. All low cholesterol of course.

When all were gone, a coat of stain went on the decks. One good thing about the 30-40 mph wind was that it dried up the wet decks! Hoping for a warm and dry Memorial Day week-end!
