Jill was here on vacation from Yakima, WA for the week. She left hubby John at home, but he'll be here in Aug. with Jill. Chad arranged to take time off to come see her. It's been 5 years since all the cousins have been together! He's enjoying Jill's yummy chocolate chip cookies.

We happened to come across Chad's Care Bear sweater. I can still picture him in this with his cute curls! By the way, Chad's sporting a mustache for " Mustache May" at Super Target.
While looking for a sweater for Claire to wear outside, we found Tiff's old Care Bear sweater. She loved it, and is going to find her mommy's sweater when she gets home!
Sherry had to give me a demo of the Norwex cloths she so loves! She won me over!

Tiff even arranged to come home a few days early to see Chad and Jill. Jason and Jayden will join then on Friday night. A visit home would not be complete without a game or two of Poker.

We all enjoy the "Badlands" restaurant. Jason and Jayden arrived a few hours later.

Saturday Cole and Jayden practiced for the "Pitch, Hit, and Run" competition. Cole swings.
It was a little chilly that morning, so Claire decided to watch practice from the car.
We tried out the playground where Claire will be having lots of fun on at recess next year. She'll begin Kindergarten this fall. I told her I started my teaching career in Minot as a Kindergarten teacher at Edison.

Claire got to go shopping that afternoon. She said she wanted to go to "My" store! I found out her store was "Claire's!"
Next stop was Herbergers to look for a dress. She tried on two, looked around for an hour, and finally decided on one.
Jayden came home with "Pitching Champ!" Congratulations, Jayden!
Cole hit the jackpot! "Pitching, Hitting, Running, AND All-Around!" Wow! Way to go! They'll both get to go to State in Wahpeton in June.
Then the boys and I headed downtwon to "Grand Slam" card shop. This also involved an hour, but was so worth it!
Claire was SO patient!
She even got a free pack of cards from the owner for being so patient!
Wade, Jenn, Payton, and Avary came over for supper that night. Payton learned to ride her bike earlier that day without training wheels! Way to go!
Claire took a spin with her training wheels on.
She decided to try without training wheels!
The girls worked up an appetite from all that bike riding!

A little basketball went on this week-end! Lots of games of "Horse!"

Wade and Jenn bought a house in Bismarck recently and will be moving in a few weeks. We'll miss this family!

Mother's Day gifts-a cutlery set and cutting boards for the lake!
The Schmelz's head back to Cavalier. What a wonderful week-end we had!
We made another trip for flowers before we plant at Mom and Dad's later that day.
When we returned home, Dad was out on the deck, soaking in the warm sun. Finally a day in the 60's and sunny!
We all worked most of the afternoon, enjoying the beautiful day!
