Spring has finally sprung in ND. Sherry mows Mom and Dad's yard.

I stopped over at the Andersons earlier this week and this is what was going on... Taj was taking in the action!

Cole tried out his new bat, with Nathan pitching, and Claire cheering him on!

A few instructions from Daddy...

Looking good, Claire!

May 1st Blizzard!

So, while I was trapped inside during our May 1st blizzard, I decided to try out my new Epson Perfection V500 scanner! I highly recommend it for scanning family slides!

Jerry and I went to Metigoshe Fri. night to check things out.

Jerry was pretty proud he was able to push in the dock himself with this steel pipe. Don't ask me how he did it! I was in the kitchen cleaning out every cupboard. (Don't ask me why I started that job at 8:00 at night when we were leaving the following afternoon!

Driving over to the A-Frame for supper Fri. night, we were amazed to find the ice hadn't come off the South lake yet!

Saturday morning turned out to be absolutely gorgeous! (until we found out the grill is shot, and needed to be replaced!)

Pelicans are out and about in early Spring!

Then we found out the dishwasher needed replacement also! :(

We decided to add a little to the dock.

Flower beds needed to be cleaned out.

A few of the signs we've been given over the years.

Pads needed to be laid down.

Bring on summer!

Flooded roads north of Minot.

Saturday afternoon we were back in Minot to greet Jill, who arrived by plane from Yakima, WA for a week.

We enjoyed Sherry's yummy potato salad, beans, brats, and burgers for Jill's "Welcome Home" dinner!

This is absolutely the best potato salad!

Jill came home for Mother's Day! She left hubby John at home, but will bring him with in Aug. We miss you John!

Claire's Grandma Lana bought her this "Claire and Dora" book for her 2nd birthday. She still enjoys it!

A little practice for Cal Ripkin in the rain. cole hit a home run, and pitched quite a bit in his first game of the season. He loves having his dad coach!

Kaydra joined in for a little practice also.

Jill's good friend Candice came over later that night.

Former DLB graduates together again!

Mother's Day lunch was at Mom and Dad's house. We enjoyed the warm, summer sun.

Claire made these brownies herself!

That afternoon Mom, Sherry, and I headed to Menards for their plant sale.

Mom always gets a hanging ivy geranium from us for Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to a wonderful Mom, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother!

Dad always gets Mom a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her special day!

Mothers and Daughters! Tiff and Chad will be home Wed. night to spend a couple days with cousin Jill.

Our family favorite - donut cake!

Sherry and Jill made scalloped potatoes and meatballs for supper.

Claire anxiously awaits the beginning of the "T-ball Season!" Rumor is that Mommy will be her coach! :)
