We had intended to go to Mpls. with Jason & Tiff to see Chad's band play New Year's Eve. We were set to leave Tues. morning, and because of dangerous driving in ND & MN, had to change our plans. We were able to get to Grand Forks Wed. and met Tiff & Jason there. Chad said his show went really well. Wish we could have been there! (Chad is on the far right)
Tiff & Jayson took us to Texas Road House for New Year's Eve dinner. We had a great meal!
We stayed in Grand Forks New Year's Eve with Tiffany & Jason. We celebrated at the Holiday Inn.
Jason found a couple fun-loving grandmas to pose with New Year's Eve! They used a few of the balloons in unusual ways!
Jayden went to Colorado to spend time with his dad and family for Christmas. He flew back with Grandpa Al from Cooperstown.
Luggage is picked up and Jayden's ready to go home. He had a great time sight seeing and skiing in Colorado.
Playing one of several games of cards. Jayden is one smart card player!
A true Steeler fan! Maybe this will bring my team luck in the play-offs!

Since Jayden was in Colorado for Christmas, he had a few gifts to open at home from his other grandparents.
Jayden woke up Fri. morning, and said, "I think I'll paint my bedroom gold & black today!" (Steeler colors) I was a little hesitant to paint black on a wall, but Tiff & Jason gave the okay, so we did! Jayden has scoped out Steeler rugs he wants to purchase with Christmas money, and he'll get lettering to put on the black wall, and Steeler symbols for the valance. He also thinks a life sized mural of Big Ben would be neat too!
Jayden looked up prices of Steeler's chairs on the internet, and decided to use a couple blankets to cover his old sofa. Pretty resourceful!
Jayden said this is the best room a kid who loves the Steelers could ever have! He thanked Grandma over and over again!
Cavalier has just recently caught up with Minot in snowfall amounts. Jason is seriously looking at snowblowers now!
