Memorial Day Week-end was cool, but fun with friends and family here. High winds a few days ago, and higher water caused the jet ski to float off the ramp, and the pontoon just about got away!

Winds also took down this tree in Guy's yard, so Jason & Jerry took the chain saw to it.

Mark was on "Wheelbarrow Duty!"

Even though it was cool, water activities still went on!

Claire decided to wait on the bikini, and watched the activities from above.

Dawn and friend Ryan braved the cool weather to jet-ski. Minutes later, they were both in the water!

Nathan is never bothered by the cold water, and went skiing.

We were all watching clean-up following wind damage in the neighbor's yard.

Mom was entertained with news from Star magazine.

Kaydra was entertained with the computer.

Poker kept the young adults entertained.

We kept entertained in the Shasta, reminiscing of former camping trips. Dad even manned the driver's seat!

The boys played checkers.

Sisters shared special moments.

Hi Ho Cherrio was played.

Jayden checked "Fantasy Baseball" stats to see how he and Jason stand.

Claire wanted Nathan to help her "draw" her name. How cute!

Kaydra lends a helping hand with a "word" page.

I'm not sure what discussion was going on here.

Nathan put the piggy tails in Claire's hair today! She loves wearing them.

Enjoying morning sun on the deck.

It didn't last long, as Jerry & Jason decided to trim our leaning tree a bit.

Is Tiff really in there?

The Megaphone provided some entertainment for Jayden and Cole.

Evidently someone must be venturing out on the tube. Brrr

Jayden had a cute song he sang on the Megaphone.

Looks like Dawn will be out on the tube!

Jerry tries his hand at fishing off the dock.

Time to blow up the floaties for the summer.

The boys are catching minnows for bait. Two of them were brought home to put in an aquarium. How's that going, Tiff?

Cole must have spotted a bunch.

Into the pail they go.

Brayden & Brandi stopped in for a short visit Saturday. Love the shades, Brayden!

Brandi's on her way to Willow City to see her mother's progress on remodeling her home.

Good times on the deck!

Good times on the swingset.

Good times on the trampoline!

Ryan and Dawn are headed to the Peace Gardens.

Wonder what the weight limit is on this swing? Better let Taja off. Ha!

Dad teaches the boys some of the rules for Shuffleboard. He's an expert, as he plays in Arizona.

Good eating!

Evening pontoon ride with the Melins.

Blankets and sweatshirts were manned for the cool ride.

Ducking under the old bridge into the Canadian bay.

We made it through! Weren't sure we would with the higher waters.

Jason helps Jayden get the weeds off his hook. Better luck next time, Jayden!

Nathan gives Cole a helping hand. Claire looks like she knows what she's doing.

Claire loves Kaydra's old Barbie rod.

Kaydra missed the "Polar Bear Jump" a few week's ago, so jumped in off the jet-ski.

How's fishing, Jason?

Claire caught a yellow fish!

Baiting the hook

Another big catch1

Are you debating whether or not to put the minnow on the hook?

Taja was totally worn out on Monday, or had indigestion from too much table food!

Kaydra soaks up the little sun we had this week-end.

Nathan took Jayden for a ride.

The PSP's provided some entertainment on the pontoon.

Dresses took over as Claire's new lake wardrobe this year. Gone are the bikinis!

Mommy helps out with casting.

Aiden, Connor, & Paul check out Cole & Jayden's catch!

Claire absolutely loves Jason!

Snuggled up!

What? Is Jeni on her phone?

Love this pic of Taja!

Tiff, Jayden, & Jason pose at the end of a great week-end.

Jayden came home with us for a few days, so of course Cole stayed with us too!

Kicking back with Burger King chicken nuggets.

A box of Dilly Bars is always a necessity for Jayden's trips to Minot.

Poker game

Lots and lots of baseball practice!

Mini golf at Valley View is a summer tradition also.

Planet Pizza action!

Brandi, Brayden, Jeni, Payton, Avary, Claire, & Jeni joined us also!

The boys decided (on their own), to share some points with the girls. How sweet is that?

Happy girls!

Then on to Oak Park Theatre for "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" movie. It was great!

Later that afternoon, we helped Mom & Dad trim some trees.

Nathan was in charge of hauling them to the curb.

Sherry helped Nathan.

Jerry was "Chainsaw Champ!"

The workers needed a break.

Nice job, Nathan!

Everyone pitched in!

Enjoyed supper of pizza, subs, and Dilly Bars.

Mark even made it home in time for some of the raking and bagging. He got rained out from part of his Backpacking trip to the Badlands.

This is Nathan's neat work! A job well done!
