Lake & More

Jayden spent a couple of days in Minot, so this is their second trip to Valley View mini golf. Jerry joined them this time.

Cole got a hole-in-one on this hole!

Jayden & Jerry got holes-in-one on the same hole!
Relaxing on the swing after golfing, deciding what to do next!
The new deck is almost complete. Jerry finished wiring deck lights, and now needs to build some steps.
We went to Cole's first Cal Ripkin baseball game. Cole played first base, and did an excellent job!
Thurs. morning Jayden was on his way back to Cavalier with us. He had to purchase a huge beef jerky for the ride back. (His favorite!)
While waiting for Tiff to arrive home, Jerry and Jayden played some Horse.
Now that's intensity!
All that hard work on the yard sure pays off! Wish my yard looked this good!
Topsy turvy tomatoes

When Tiff arrived home, we left for the lake. We had to stop while these cute goslings and parents crossed the road.
Arrived at the lake around 8, and began cleaning carpets.
Scott, Cindy, daughter Josie and her friend Autumn joined us Fri. evening, along with Sherry who came earlier. We were lucky to see the motorized parasail on our pontoon cruise. Jerry would really like to have one of these.
Josie and Autumn snuggled up with blankets, as the weather was cool.
Mother and daughter pose.
Jerry and Scott take the rear.
It's never too cool for s'mores.
We rarely miss a campfire. Even if it involves bringing out the blankets.
Cool, rainy weather is perfect for fishing. It was also free fishing week-end. Yay!
Josie prefered reading to fishing.
Autumn had the best luck. She caught three really nice Northerns!
Sherry was enjoying tabloid news. We laughed about her reading glasses over her sunglasses. How resourceful!
The sky looked threatening like this often this week-end.
The girls created really neat sand castles.
Jerry and Scott cooked up some tasty hamburgers.
Breakfast on the deck. Doesn't get any better than this!
The Bexells pose for a pic before leaving. We sure had a wonderful week-end!
Jerry was going to spray a few weeds (well, more than a few!) before leaving, but as usual, the minute he took out the sprayer, the wind picked up!
