Labor Day week-end began with the most beautiful Saturday. (Finally!) Cole & Jayden fill the pool in hopes of great turtle-hunting!
Dad spent time reading Nathan's "hot off the press" book,

Dawn takes a break from the hot sun.
The boys bought new scooters at Bottineau's Walmart. Claire prefers the wagon for now.

It's time for supper, so Sherry & Dad husk the yummy peaches and cream corn he bought.
Jason's relatives were camping at the State Park, and brought over the most delicious meal Saturday night! BBQ ribs, green beans with bacon, potato salad, macaroni salad, & garlic toast. Jason's uncle Ron grilled the ribs & toast.
Jason's step-sister Teresa & husband Tory,
along with daughter & grandson enjoyed the beautiful evening on the lake.
Jason's mother Maureen orchestrated the whole meal. Of course she's had a little practice owning a supper club! Thanks, Maureen!
The ribs were finger-lickin' good!

Mom & I enjoyed looking at Maureen's albums featuring her new granddaughter Mikaylie.
Later that night, Jeremy & Brandy dropped in for a campfire. They had been to Grand Forks shopping for their baby after recently finding out, "it's a boy!" We're so excited for you both!

DJ's dog Jade bounded off the dock after his tennis ball at least 100? times!
Sunday morning coffee & newspaper.

Four more turtles to add to the collection. The total was 10 for the week-end!
Claire layered her shirts today. She has three shirts on! What a stylin' 3 year old!
Dawn finished her morning run with a smile. She ran to the State Park and back!
The boat and the dock were the place to be on this gorgeous day!

While cleaning up doggy doo, DJ found Tiff's croc floating in the lake.
Monday morning we surprised Dawn with an early 30th Birthday celebration. She will be celebrating in Las Vegas on the 18th! Sherry brings out the glasses.
Happy Birthday, Dawn! Those birthday muffins look pretty good!
Little did we know that today was Jade's 5th birthday!
Jade got a piece of breakfast casserole for her birthday treat!
