Tiff & Jayden came to Minot for Jeni & Drew's "PPS Party" on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out Friday that we would see them two week-ends in a row! Jason couldn't come, as he was preparing for a trip to Buffalo, NY for work meetings. I had signed up for a two and a half hour shift working in the Food Booth for Bel Air's "Fun Night" on Friday, so couldn't meet them when they arrived. Jayden & Cole checked out the Snow forts Saturday.
Jerry came to help put Nathan & Jeni's new dining room furniture together, while Claire checks everything out. Actually Jerry was only there to supervise, as he is suffering from a fractured vertebrae. Ouch!
Like father, like daughter!
By now you know one of our routines when Jayden comes to town, is a visit to the "Grand Slam Card Shop" downtown. The boys always receive a free card from the owner. She always remembers their favorite teams. Today the boys got a free Mountain Dew from her! (If she only knew...that Mountain Dew came out when they were suppose to be getting to sleep that night!)
The dining set put together, ( I don't have a pic of the finished product), house prepared for the party, sub ordered, appetizers made, and it's time for a trip to Space Aliens!
Jeni, Tiff, & Lyndsay are ready to eat, and then shop at the party.
Claire is excited to play games now, as she gets money for tokens like the boys do now.
Jeni stopped texting for a picture with her mom.
Claire won a 200 ticket jackpot tonight!
The boys give the games a hundred percent. They really should be part-owners of these games by now!
Claire really savors those fries! A grilled cheese comes in a close second.

Remnants of Claire's "Ring Pop" prize remain! After Space Aliens, Sherry, Jerry, & I took the kids out to our place for the night. The party began at 7. Claire played a dart game with these dart magnets, and had so much fun with them, we opened up the junk drawer to find more stuff to pick up.
Sometimes it's the simple things that kids love!
Her other new favorite thing to do at our house is to jump on the bed, dance, and sing her made-up songs! I think she'll be a songwriter someday. She sang about a Princess, Pony, & Taja!
She didn't feel real sure about this next song, as she asked me to put the pillows over her as she sang. I gave her an American Idol pass to Hollywood!
Looks like Jerry's back is feeling a little better! I believe this is how his back got messed up last week-end.
Fantasy Baseball Monopoly was next.
Remember that Mountain Dew? Well, this football game went on pretty late Sat. night!
Claire's all packed up and ready to go home. She packed her own backpack.
Jayden had a few more cards to put in sleeves before leaving for Cavalier.
Once again, we had a great week-end! Love these kids!
