March 26

About a week and a half ago, we had early dismissal in MPS at 1:00, and school was even cancelled that afternoon for the following day! The down side of this was the day came out of our 5 day Easter vacation. Anyway, Jerry decided to shovel out to the grill and grilled some delicious Jalapeno burgers.

The following evening Sherry made supper and brought over to Mom and Dad's. Cole brought his cute Bubblehead trophy from his last BB tourney.
Claire and Cole had been busy earlier in the day making these cut checkerboards. When I asked Claire how long it took her to make, she replied "Forever!"
We all enjoyed the yummy chicken and dumpling dish! Well, maybe not Claire - but she enjoyed the chips and pretzels!

This will most likely be included in the Family Recipe Book! If I ever get it ready!
The gameboards worked well!
Just a few snow pics! We're REALLY getting tired of the Winter that never ends!

Dad has begun exploring another floor. We've taken down the bed from the living room, and he now sleeps upstairs! He's been practicing steps for awhile, as he showers downstairs.

Last week-end we drove up to the lake to check out the cabin. A couple decks were snowless?, but there was plenty to spare elsewhere!

Jerry found one dead mouse in a trap! (so there must be more!)
Other than that bad news, everything else looked good!
The snow was still firm enough for us to walk on.
We were planning to open the cabin up and hook up water, but decided that would have to wait for awhile!!

A cabin owner has set up a feeder for the deer. Thought this was too cute to pass up!

That night we went out to the Hacienda with Scott and Cindy. Jerry had to show Scott the autographed pic of his sweetheart Sarah Palin! Scott is also a big fan!
Sunday we attended Cole's game at Central Campus. He had a few fans there!

Go Number 14!
Proud family! Claire had just been "Beaned" with an out of control basketball during the game, so wasn't a happy camper!
Jerry whipped up a pot of chili that evening. It really was good!

While eating our fattening appetizers, Dad whips out his book on "Belly Fat!"
The Mayo Clinic Health letter is one of Dad's favorite reads!
Love you Mom and Dad! You're the best!
