Spring Break 2011

Spring Break I was able to spend some time over at Mom and Dad's. Dad was busy getting tax items ready for his accountant. Fun job!
We decided to take a break, and go to Town and Country to walk. Dad has been doing very well bearing weight on his left leg. Dr. wants him to use his walker to prevent another fall for a few weeks.
Since it was Spring Break, we invited the Andersons for lunch at Marcos Restaurant. This is a nice little place at T & C Mall, with a huge menu of great food!

Sherry and Nathan were able to break away from work for a lunch break also!
Cole looks pretty cool in his new Oakleys. He bought them with his own money! He'll be able to play baseball on those bright, sunny days.
We had a great lunch together with this crew!
Dad has been so ambitious cleaning up his "Office!" He's organizing all of his "Good Health" articles.
Friday of Spring Break Claire and Cole came over for a couple hours. Since it was lunch time, we asked what they'd like, and Claire suggested her new favorite food - Pancakes! Of course she wanted to make them herself! She mixed water with pancake mix.
Next, she patiently waited for the bubbles to pop through the pancakes.
Ready to flip, and flip she did!
Cole flipped his cakes.

She served them up one at a time!

Syrup goes on after the butter.

The taste test!
Spring appears to be a LONG way off!

A chocolate sundae for dessert!

Claire absolutely loves looking at pictures of herself.
She said she'll miss Payton and Avary when they move to Bismarck! :(
Great Grandma helps with the Scooby puzzle.
Dad always makes sure there's apples and oranges served with breakfast or lunch!
Saturday night we went out out with Scott, Cindy, and Josie Bexell to Paradiso.

Josie loves to draw, so wondered if we had anything for her to draw. Jerry pulled out this pic of Chad and Jenny, and in around 15 minutes, she had this sketched!
SO cute!
Friday was my birthday, so we celebrated with this beautiful donut cake!
It was a perfect birthday!
