Claire models her new Christmas dress she picked out herself at her new favorite store - Herbergers!s Tiff, Jayden, & Buster arrived the Thurs. night before Christmas. Jason had to work Friday, so they drove up early to spend some time with the Andersons. Jeni woke up early Fri. morning with the flu that has been going through her daycare! :( The boys went to the Y to play some basketball.

Claire hung out at our place all day, and decided she wanted to sleep over also. Tiff needed a little help with gift wrapping, so Claire assisted!
That night we took a little light tour. The Olsons' display is always first on the list. (I need a little practice with my camera settings!)
Jayden got to open an early Christmas gift before heading up to Lignite for Christmas Eve festivities. He got a new phone with a slide out keypad for texting.
Buster was left back! :( I think he's dreaming of turkey and meatballs which will be cooked up tonight!
Yep, cooking frenzy has begun for Christmas Day dinner. Turkey, meatballs, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, scalloped corn, sweet potatoes, baked beans, layered lettuce salad, lefse, jello, and pumpkin pie. We did forget the cranberry sauce though!
Christmas morning Jayden returned with a gun he received for Christmas! Hope Buster will be ready for pheasant hunting next year! Jayden will have to take Hunter Safety this winter.
Guess I forgot the fine china this Christmas too! Oh well, it's what's on the plate that really counts, right? :)

Claire and Jason coordinated their shirts today. Claire wanted her pic taken with the "Red Solo Cups!"

The boys decided to open one of Great-Grandparents' gifts together, as they looked like the same thing. Sure enough - rubber band guns - which they had requested!

Rumor was that Dave (our resident cabin ghost) spent the fall with our lake neighbors the Melins and Lautenschlagers. He tagged along with them to Las Vegas, and evidently met someone there! Jerry was surprised to find them giftwrapped and under the tree!

Later Claire commented that "He wasn't the real Santa!" When asked how she knew, she replied, "Santa had stocking feet and he carried a black GARBAGE bag!"
