November 26, 2011

Thanksgiving was filled with several get-togethers with friends, family, and too much food! So...we took Buster for a walk after dinner.
Buster remembered the water running through the ditch the last time he was here, so was a little surprised by the ice and snow! Cavalier didn't get the snow we got previously.
Buster was young while at the lake this past summer, so didn't spend much time in the water. We now know that he's definitely a water dog!
Lots of time was spent looking through Black Friday ads. Kaydra and Cole went out at midnight with Nathan to shop for an hour and a half.
Buster can usually be found with a pine cone in his mouth!
He sure liked the snow!
Fetching!
The "Bring it back" command sometimes turns into a "Tug of War" game!
Love, love, love our Grandpuppy!
Favorite toy at our house
Buster's great parents!
Tate, Greyson, Cole, and Cale created yummy sundaes!
Richard flew in from Boise a week before Thanksgiving, so had a little extra time on his hands. Jerry and he worked on Mom and Dad's vacuum cleaner.
We celebrated Mom and Dad's birthdays a few days early, as they were heading to their winter home in Mesa. They weren't able to go last winter, as Dad broke his hip a couple days before they were going to leave. :(
Jeni had to joke around a bit about being the only grandchild to attend the party! :) She declared herself the new "Favorite Grandchild!"

They wanted ND sweatshirts for AZ. (not that they'll really need them there!)
The Lee family
Rich was complaining about all the snow and cold weather, so Jerry sent him out with a shovel to start up the grill!!! :)
Bundled up and ready for a morning walk.

I got the tree up, and found out the lights I bought last year no longer worked! So, our electrical engineer said he'd look at them. Well, he finally had to throw up his arms and say, "Better go to Walmart!"
Jerry also tried, but failed.
Claire missed out on the sundae-making!
On to Cole's BB game!

Rich was glad he was able to attend one of Cole's games.

Claire found her teacher and sat by her.
Claire loves her teacher, Mrs. Klabunde.
Tate and Cole - 2 great players!
Taja has missed Richard!
Claire reads her school reader to Mommy.
Taj thought it sounded interesting!
My teaching partner and good friend JoAnn's daughter, granddaughter, son-in-law, and hubby stopped in to visit at Bel Air. We've been friends since Gracia was a baby! (Oh, and Lola also came!)
Wed. night cooking frenzy!

Drew had cooking to do at home, but came out to help us!
Cranberry Salad Master!
Niece Jill and John sent these flowers for all of us to enjoy at Thanksgiving! We missed you! :(

Looks like I should just eat a little turkey and nothing else! Oofta! (Dieting will have to begin between now and Christmas for at least a few weeks!)
Please don't notice my paper plates! I usually use real ones for Thanksgiving, but lost my head this year!
Looking through Black Friday ads!

Uncle Rich and his nieces

He's leaving the next day, so we all had to have pics taken with him! (Don't know why we chose the garage for pics!)

Drew and Paul
Tiff and Jason getting ready to leave.
Buster's not so sure he wants to leave the house with all the turkey and meatballs! (He'll be back on regular dog food when he returns home!)
Flowers from Tiff and Jason
Sunday night supper at Sherry's tonight. We've had a total of 10 friends/family dinners in a row! We've been spending lots of time in our sweat pants! (Audrey and Claire ham it up!
Max and Paul are intent on watching football in the kitchen.
Tara and Matt
Lana and Nathan

Cousin good times! We sure missed Chad, Jenny, Jill, John, Mom, Dad, and Jayden this Thanksgiving!
