The week before Labor Day was beautiful. Dad decided to do what he loves-wash his car!

Mom picked beets from the garden.

I've always loved Mom's beet pickles, but never watched her make them, so...

I got lessons from the pro!

They look yummy! Can't wait to try them with one of your hotdishes!

Labor Day week-end was rather cool, but Buster didn't mind jumping in the lake and rolling around in the mud. Jerry cozies him up in a towel after his bath! :)

Mark drove up from Minneapolis, and Mom & Dad from Minot. We decided to take Buster for a walk. It was Buster's longest walk so far. Not bad for an 11 week old pup!

Rich called from Boise to make sure we were watching the Boise State game. We were. Go Boise State!

This pup leads a tough life!

We were sitting at the kitchen table, when I saw Buster flash through with a white toilet paper roll! I thought only toddlers did this!

Mom and Dad always bring LOTS of fruit to the lake!

Breakfast!

Jerry rolled his window down to see through the fog on his way to get the paper at the Sawmill this morning. When he tried to roll it back up, it wouldn't! Just one more electronic thing to go wrong with this rig! He and Dad decided to take it apart to see what was wrong.

We appreciated the paper though!

Buster has learned a couple of tricks. "Sit" and "Shake." He is a really smart dog!

The boys are really into their Airsoft guns!

Mark gives them some tips.

It's never too coo for a pontoon ride! Hey, the sun's out!

Supper's ready!

Tiff and Jason made another Can Cooker meal. This time it was corn, potatoes, pork chops, and sausage. All done in less than an hour!

Mark's birthday was on Labor Day this year.

He got the new Dick Cheney book. We all know he's a strong Democrat! Jerry asked if he could borrow it when Mark was done.

A nose trimmer! :)

Rugs for his kitchen

Dawn and the Bekkedahls stopped over for a campfire on the Bekkedahl's Harleys.

Sarah and Brad are such a cute couple!

Speaking of cute!

Buster is learning a few more tricks!

We may have to take him on the road!

Target shooting

So sad! The jetski is wrapped up and ready to be dropped off at Johnson Sport Center. We're not taking the pontoon out yet though.

Family times are great times!
