These pictures are somewhat mixed up, as Sherry & I combined our pictures of the great celebration on Oct. 15, 2011. Mom's 80th birthday was held at their home, with a great crowd of friends and relatives in attendance. She received many beautiful cards and gifts.

The Olthoffs' card was fun!

Brother Gene arrived a few days prior to the big bash from Beloit, Wisconsin. We really loved spending time with him, even though things may have been a little hectic while he was here!

Love this pic of Mom and Dad!

The garage was decorated.

We had an "Arizona Bound" theme. They leave for AZ before Thanksgiving this year.

Chad surprised us when he arrived Thursday night! We didn't think he would be able to make it!

Sub and fixings were spread out on this table, which later ended up collapsed on the floor after I bumped into it! It was quite a show! :)

Scalloped potatoes and ham, meatballs, and baked beans

The guests began arriving...

Dad's sisters Margaret, Clarice, and Dorothy. Margaret will celebrate her 90th birthday in November!

Before the celebration, several recipes were studied!

Chad, Jeni, and Claire soon after Chad arrived home Thurs.

The pre-party shopping!

Chad always keeps us entertained!

The night before the party, we all went out to the Hacienda for a great meal!

Chad had to give Claire a dollar to have his picture taken with her! :)

Poker

Friday cooking frenzy!

Decorating began!

Mark came home the week before the party to help out too!

Chad says his good-byes. He's got his to-go box with him!

Jayden and Buster say their good-byes. Jerry is going to Cavalier with them for a few days, as Tiff and Jason are on their way to Las Vegas.

Flowers from cousin Beverly who couldn't be there.

Flowers from Jill and John

We all agree that Mom's 80th was the best ever! We love you!
