We arrived in Cavalier Friday night. Jayden's good friend Dawson helped Jayden eat the DQ Dilly Bars we picked up at the Langdon DQ. Cavalier doesn't have a Dairy Queen, so it's always a treat.
The Andersons arrived a little later that evening. Cole and Jayden were excited to play the new Madden 11 we brought Jayden.
Sherry tried to take a pic of Claire and I reading, but Claire immediately put the book in front of her face. When Sherry told her she couldn't see her face, she replied, "Well, I can see you!" (There was a little opening on the book cover!)
Claire snuggles with Mommy. Nathan was in Fargo attending a workshop involving his Doctorate program. He will drive to Cavalier Saturday night.
Jeni, Tiff, and Jason enjoyed the hot tub on that cold Friday night.
Saturday morning Jayden is ready to play some football. Jerry gives him a " High Five" for good luck!
The game is about to begin!
The fans were a little bit chilled on that 32 degree morning. The winter coats were dug out!
Claire kept warm under plenty of blankets!

Claire and I played around 6 or7 games of Chutes and Ladders. Fun times!
That afternoon we went shopping. Claire picked out a Fairy Princess Barbie. The boys got cards. (Surprise!)
Jerry put the wings together on Claire's Fairy, and demonstrated how it works!
Claire's pleased!
I guess the boys didn't get enough football this morning.
Saturday afternoon was actually pleasant!
We even needed sunglasses. Whoo hoo!
Taj found this huge bone to chew on! Yuck!
Claire absolutely loved the hot tub!
She told Mommy that she'd like one!
Mommy said, "Ask Daddy!"
"I can even learn to swim in here!"
Claire was sure happy when Daddy arrived later that afternoon!

We went back to the field that night, as Cole discovered his cell phone was missing, and thought he may have left it here. Claire came along to help. No luck here, but he later found it in the sofa cushion!

Sunday morning we're all ready to head back to Minot.
Cole and Jayden had a great time together, as usual!
I sure enjoyed my time with Jayden!
The Schmelz's are always great hosts. Jason is preparing to leave later that afternoon for Washington, where he'll visit a few ports.
Back in Minot, Sherry and I headed over to Mom and Dad's to help them prepare for Hostfest company. More good times ahead!
